Richard Ahiagbede is a writer who was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa. He immigrated to the United States at the age of thirteen. Having grown up in two different cultures allowed him further diversity, perspective, and experience, which he brings to his writing and storytelling.

 

Mr. Ahiagbede draws his inspiration from many genres of writing, including fiction, non-fiction, personal narratives, memoirs, and faith. He believes creativity and imagination has no bounds. His first published work, A Different Lens, is a Play about a West-African family living in the United States and showcases the complexity of family dynamics and expectations.

 

Mr. Ahiagbede currently lives in Maryland, United States.
