Richard Ahiagbede is a writer who was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa. He moved to the United States at the age of thirteen. Having grown up in two different cultures allows him further diversity, perspective, and experience which he brings to his writing.

 

Mr. Ahiagbede draws his inspiration from many genres, including fiction, non-fiction, personal narratives, memoirs, and faith—he believes creativity has no bounds. His first published work, A Different Lens, is a Play about a West-African family living in the United States which showcases the complexity of family dynamics and expectations.

 

Mr. Ahiagbede currently resides in Maryland, United States.
